Number Caller ID FREE 

Outgoing calls from free Fongo Works users will show “FREE BUSINESS” along with your default phone number.

Name & Number Caller ID Pro

Outgoing calls from Fongo Works Pro users will display both your business’s name and phone number on the recipient’s caller ID. Simply change your business’s name in your online dashboard to change the name portion of your caller ID.

Setting The Whole Business’s Outbound Number

1. Enter the Features tab of your Fongo Works dashboard

2. In the Phone Numbers section, click the number currently set as default

3. Choose one of your other phone numbers, then click “Update”

All members/extensions will make their outgoing calls from the default outbound phone number.

Setting Individual Member’s Outbound Number

1. In the Members tab of your Fongo Works dashboard, select a member

2. Select “Set Unique Default Number”, then click the number currently set as default

3. Choose one of your other phone numbers, then click “Update”

This will overwrite the default outbound number that is set for the business.

Note: When using the companion app, choosing a different outbound number will overwrite both of the above settings for that particular call.

Business Name

1. Enter the Account area of your dashboard

2. In the “Business Name” field, enter what you want your caller ID to display

3. Click “Save Account”

All members/extensions will make their outgoing calls from this business name.

Notes
  • There is a 15-character limit on Name Caller ID
  • Your business name can only include letters, numbers, or spaces
    • No accented characters or symbols
  • Some providers don’t provide Name Caller ID
    • Name Caller ID can also be an add-on feature that is not included with Caller ID
